You getting off the couch- getting into a Montana oufitters Elk hunt
At Willow Ranch Outfitters we may sound like a ranch but we are the furthest from. We operate in the Lee Metcalf Wilderness. This is a national forest, which as you all know means no fences. We operate without boundaries, with limitless ground to cover. We call ourselves Willow Ranch Outfitting because we need some place to keep our horses.
Fortunately, for us we do not need to uses all the land that we have available to get you your Montana bull elk. We have many of these to go around. We do the majority of our hunting on horse back like they did in the old days. If you can imagine you your Fjord horse, a rifle in hand, herds of elk covering the sagebrush meadows, seeping out of aspen groves. Elk migrating from there summer lands and slowly coming through you to get to their winter pasture.
There are no fast food restaurants close by. No neon lights point the direction. No telephone calls to get back to. No emails that need to be responded too immediately.
This is about you being what you dreamed of being. This is about you experiencing what you see on the Outdoor Channel on Saturday afternoons. This is about having something to look forward to. This is about hunting for elk in Montana. |
