Acu-sight
It is rare when you are in the industry that you find a product that could single handedly save your elk hunting trip. There are millions of things out there trust me, but its rare to come across one that can salvage a trip.
This week we traveled to Spokane, Wa. for a Safari Club International fundraiser. We were at our table with Ray Bunny, Chad Reel who is the owner operator of Reel Adventures and his girlfriend Jonna, Steve Jones of Gamefinders.com and his wife Dee, and a fellow by the name of Kelly Davis who is behind the website Huntinc.com.
Kelly is also the owner of Acu-Sight. Here is a small run down on the product:
The Acu-Sight System is The Accuracy Maintenance System in the world. The original (First) chamberable boresight and the ONLY one that can put you back to within a minute of angle of original zero, without firing a shot.
Now I believe that this tool for the American rifleman would be a critical one. Lets say you are in the field, and by field I mean hunting with us at Willow Ranch Outfitters Inc., hunting in the Lee Metcalf wilderness, in the in the Beaverhead National Forest and the Gallatin National Forest. You have unfortunately slipped and fell, or bumped up against a tree. Something to the effect that you think your elk hunting rifle scope has moved or been disturbed.
With the Acu-Sight you simply chamber the cartridge/laser, in you elk hunting rifle. Pick and object that is 25 yards away and sight in your rifle or check to make sure it is hitting the mark. I know BRILLIANT!!!
With this handy little pocket size tool, we no longer need to fire repeatedly until you have sighted in your rifle. In the process of shooting you have scared off every living creature in the country. |
